METROGRAPHY FIRST COLLECTIVE PROJECT | A MAP OF DISPLACEMENT

METROGRAPHY NEEDS YOUR HELP!

It's been a while now that our photographers have been working on Metrography first collective project - A Map of Displacement.

Since the beginning of the recent crisis in June 2014, more than 2 million Iraqis have been forced to leave their houses, with 1.2 million of them seeking shelter inside the safer Kurdistan region of Iraq.

Metrography has committed to tell the stories of these IDP (internally displaced people) through a series of visual accounts combining photography, video, audio and written essays.

Our aim is to create an interactive online platform where people can navigate through the stories and get in touch with the NGOs and the people on the ground to donate for specific relief.

In order to accomplish such an ambitious goal, we need your help. This is why we launched a crowdfunding campaign to support this project that you can find HERE.

Below, you can find some of the stories that have already been produced by our photographers.

Help us tell more, and reach the world with this important story!
